He has been a patent attorney since 1987 and a litigator since 2004. After received B.S. in Chemistry from Shinshu University (1970) and working in the laboratory (1970-80) and the patent department (1980-88) at TORAY Inc, he founded in 1989. He is a technical advisor/an expert commissioner of Osaka District Court, Tokyo District Court and Intellectual Property High Court (2004-).
