Management of Private Information

The Center is managed jointly by the Japan Federation of Bar Associations and the Japan Patent Attorneys Association. All private information acquired by the Center will be managed according to the private information protection policies of the two organizations.

The manager of the private information acquired by the Center is the secretary-general of the two organizations. The private information used is as follows.

1. Information on the parties related to a case

   The names and contact information (address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address) of the parties and the names and contact information (address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address) of any agents.

2. Information on candidates for mediators, arbitrators, panelists and panelists for JP domain name disputes

   Names, contact information (address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address) of these individuals, and names of the Bar Associations (to which related attorneys-at-law belong) or the specialties (of related patent attorneys).
