Arbitration is a dispute resolution system that is based on the premise that the parties agree in advance to entrust the decision on the dispute to the arbitrator who is a neutral third party and to abide by that decision.
Arbitration is fundamentally different from mediation, which is a procedure that attempts to resolve a dispute amicably without an arbitration agreement.
The arbitrator will designate the arbitration date and hold the hearing at a place designated by the Center. The arbitrator will also hold preparatory hearings as necessary to make necessary preparations such as organizing and supplementing the claims and submitting documentary evidence.
